This 1½ story Bungalow structure is part of the development and evolution of the 19th and 20th century residential development of early Corpus Christi. The structure was built circa 1930 by I. M. Singer, former Corpus Christi City attorney. The house exhibits a gable roof with exposed rafter ends. It has a single-bay porch with queen post supports. The Furman Avenue area historically qualifies for local landmark designation with several structures having the potential to qualify for National Register of Historic Places.
