Potential Landmark
HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH1107 N. STAPLES STREET This structure is a 2-story stucco church with 3-story asymmetrical towers and lancet arched double hung wood sash windows. The original building was constructed for a spanish speaking congregation on North Tancahua Street, by Reverend John Coma under the direction of Reverend Claude Jaillet. The church was first known as Our Lady of Guadalupe and later as Corpus Christi Church. In 1915, it was later moved to Last Street, now known as North Alameda Street, and rededicated as Blessed Sacrament Church.
